It’s movie marathon day: food

Don’t you think there is a lot of food in recent movies? Brad Pitt eat a lot in every film, then there are a lot of chocolate movies, sex and food movies, problem with food movies… I can go on for days.
I love food, a lot; I love to taste it and enjoy it every time I eat. So, for me it’s beautiful to see food in movies, but there is a problem, I get hungry every time. So making a food movie marathon means have food in front of me during the vision. I chose three over a moltitude of billions of movies with food in it.

  • Pulp Fiction (1994), directed by Quentin Tarantino, with John Travolta, Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson. This b movie can be part of every single movie marathon, it’s violent, it’s funny, it’s always new and it has a lot of food in it.
  • In the mood for love (2000) directed by Wong Kar-wai, with Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung. A love story tied with food. When you see the characters eat together is like seeing them make love.
  • Julie & Julia (2009), directed by Nora Ephron, with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. This story is all based on food. On exactly 524 very difficult and french recipes and a food blog. The first food blog ever, I think.

So, what do you think about them? Would you prefer other movies with a lot of food? Let me know in the comments!
