I’m proud to say that the singer of this month is Italian. Sara Loreni is a talented performer from Parma, her best friend is her loop station. It’s so cool that one person can be an orchestra of voices with a sampler. So what kind of music does she do? Obviously a sampler makes your music electronic, so I can say that electro-alternative-pop is her genre. She remembers me a bit of Meg from 99 Posse, a nineties Italian
I am so excited for this month’s singer: Carly Clark is someone we are not used to in Europe. She’s a singer songwriter from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She define herself has a bluesy/pop artist, a cross-between Norah Jones and Colbie Caillat.
Her first release was the EP In This Moment (2015). It’s a young and fresh product, something perfect if you want to get into a light American blues. My favourite song is Down by the river (this is a very cute live version).
This month’s special artist is Elohim, a fantastic singer from Los Angeles.
She is a mix of different types, I don’t know if I ever heard so many sounds in only one song. She can adapt various kinds of music to create some fresh sounds, all on an electro-pop arrangement. So we can say that she is an electro-pop singer but with a lot of
The singer of the month is Shura, an English singer-songwriter I discovered her few weeks ago. She decided to assume the creative control over the production of her music and I’m very impressed about this, it’s not a simple work.
Her sound touches a lot of genres: electropop, alternative r’n’b, new wave, indie, it’s
The weather is hot but maybe you’re not on holiday. If you’re dreaming of the seaside, the lake or a swimming pool, I can help you with a summer playlist that smells of dried salt and mojitos. This is my July playlist, a bit pop, a bit reggae, and a lot happy! You can also hear it here on my Spotify:
Imagine Dragons – Thunder
Izzy Bizu – White Tiger
Katchafire – Down With You
Finally the good weather has come. I love spring, the flowers, the colours, but the weather changes continuously and the last few weeks were very very bad.
But today is friYAY and it’s sunny. What’s better than this? How’s the weather where you live?
